Hobbies: Backpacking, hiking, traveling, running, biking, yoga, teaching…anything that gets me outside and moving!
Looking forward to: Collaborating with other educators, learning about connections between the local ecosystem and economy, cultural experiences, and learning about self-reliance.

Hobbies: I like to travel, play sports, crafts, and spend time with friends and family.
Looking forward to: Meeting other teachers and establishing connections with them. I am excited to visit Ecuador and speak with natives, work in the schools, practice my Spanish, and experience Ecuadorian cuisine. I am very much looking forward to the knowledge I will gain and bring back to enhance my classroom activities!

Looking forward to: I am excited to experience the Ecuadorian culture, visit Heifer International and, hopefully, see whales!!! Additionally, I look forward to sharing time with the people of Ecuador and my amazing travel companions!

      It was an incredible experience. It exceeded my expectations! It was also a phenomenal group of educators. Next time I am in San Diego I will have to share more about it!

      Hi Judy!
      It was so fun to hear from you during our trip! Hopefully I will be able to share my photos with you at some point this summer. We were at high altitudes. I think somewhere in the 13,000 ft. range was our high point. The altitude I am used too. It’s the boat rides that get me!
